hinv is the IRIX hardware inventory command. It lists what a Silicon Graphics machine found when it booted: processors, memory, boards, graphics, disks and adapters. The PROM monitor prints its own inventory, and gfxinfo describes the graphics pipes.

This site collects those listings from real machines, as their owners posted them, so you can see what a given machine shipped with, or every machine that reported a given part.
